Classical Summer Festival
The Classical Summer Festival Foundation originated from the initiative of the Podia Klassiek Foundation to offer young music talents a stage and to develop initiatives in addition to regular musical education to increase the opportunities for these talents.
The objective is to discover talent and to stimulate the development of that talent in a safe environment.
Central to this is the Summer Festival, in which young talented musicians are offered an annual study week with masterclasses, workshops and concerts.
The festival is open to the public, which applies to both the masterclasses and the concerts.
For the musicians it is a festival to work on their musical career in a relaxed environment.
A unique experience for the public to experience one or more days / half days with masterclasses and concerts.
During the day there are masterclasses and workshops, every evening there is an evening concert and on the last day, Sunday afternoon, the final concert takes place.
For the young musicians, these pedagogical initiatives provide an important addition to education, stage experience, presentation and personal exposure.
Masters
Prominent musicians such as Geoffrey Madge and Ralph van Raat lead the masterclasses.
Children's festival
The Children's Festival is a special part of the annual Classical Summer Festival.
The aim is to involve children in classical music in a playful way.
The division of roles is filled by enthusiastic young people: the narrator, pianist, very young musicians. For example, a make-up artist comes to transform the children. The children in the audience can also think about how to dress and possibly bring a musical instrument to help.
The children's festival is an annual surprising music spectacle for children from all over the region

Financial responsibility
The foundation is able to organize an annual summer festival thanks to various sponsor contributions from, among others. Podia Classics and the Guldenberg. This income is entirely spent on the costs of organizing this festival, such as accommodation for the participating musicians, the master's fee, rent and tuning of the pianos and other additional costs. The member of the board are volunteers. No unnecessary reserves are put on the bank account of the foundation other than the budgeted costs for a subsequent festival.

Summer Festival Classic for 10 years
Summer Festival Classic started in 2012, the first years in Landgoed Huize Bergen in Vught and then annually in the Guldenberg in Helvoirt.
Every year, the Klassiek Summer Festival offers approximately 10 participating music students an excellent time investment with returns for several years.
In addition, there are dozens of auditors and an audience of all ages, several hundred visitors.
It is a well known fact that concert halls are emptying out, especially when it comes to classical music. New formulas are needed, as well as sponsors and new target groups. The Summer Festival formula is a successful example of this.
Summer festival Klassiek originated from the formula of Podia Klassiek, which now has ten locations.
At the finals of Podia Klassiek an amount is reserved for educational activities such as the Summer Festival.
Evaluation and quality control
The participants of the Summer Festival and the public are systematically asked for their opinion on the program on offer.
Based on this strength – weakness analysis, the program for the next festival is constantly adjusted.
